Display of Shakti's portraits at Indus Ind gallery

CHANDIGARH, April 11: Portraits came back to the gallery walls through Shakti Singh's collection that went on at Indus Ind Art Gallery this evening. Shakti, who passed out of the Government College of Art in '91, has in fact based his work on faces that often peep out of newsmagazines. And from life too, as in the ravishing village belles.But Shakti can definitely improve upon his chosen path of portraiture by being more mature in handling the colours as well as his depictions.
