HYDERABAD, April 11: Umakanth Reddy, an intermediate first-year student, belonging to the Siddipet in Medak district, committed suicide after he was denied hall ticket for his examinations. The Minister of Higher Education, Pratibha Bharathi, has warned of strigent action, including disaffiliation, against private college managments which deny hall-tickets to the students who fail to pay the college fee.
