BANGALORE, April 11: The Kamkshamba Ammanavara Hoovina Pallakkothsava was celebrated at the ancient Someshwaraswamy Temple here on April 10. Thousands of devotees took part in the festival. An interesting sidelight of the festival is that for over a decade, the palanquins that take part in the festival are decorated by Syedu, a Muslim florist.
