Siddharth downs Vigit Sehgal

NEW DELHI, April 12: Siddharth Gulati beat Vigit Sehgal 8-4 in a boy's under-14 quarter-final match of the DAV Tennis Academy at the DAV Public School here. The tournament for youngsters in various age groups, is being played under the best of 17 games format.

Jitender Mehldh and Adil Alam played the toughest match of the day in the boy's under-14 category with the former winning 8-7 (7-5) in tie-breaker.

Results: (All quarter-finals): U-14 boy's: Siddharth Gulati bt Vigit Sehgal 8-4, Tushar bt Honey Rana 8-6, Raghav Mohan bt Ankit Bhatia 8-6, Jitender Mehldh bt Adil Alam 8-7 (7-5). Under-12 boy's: Pulket Misra bt Chirag (w/o), Raghav bt Nikunj Singh 8-1, Vigit Sehgal bt Kushal Gundhi 8-1, Prabhat Malik bt Laksit 8-2. Under-10 boys's: Pulket Misra bt Aayush Agarwal 8-1, Chandriv bt Gaurav Malhotra 8-0, Prabhat bt Rahul Jain 8-2, Lakshit bt Pranav 8-0. Under-14 girl's: Sugandha bt Nidhi Thakur 8-0, Mahima Garg bt Kritika 8-0.
