Parekh to move HC against AA

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
MUMBAI, APR 13: Former president of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), J C Parekh, would move Mumbai High Court on April 19 against the Appellate Authority's (AA) decision upholding the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) order removing him from office. Parekh's counsel, Janak Dwarkadas, today informed the Mumbai High Court bench headed by Justice N J Pandya that he would file a fresh appeal on that day. The Mumbai High Court, on April 8, had allowed Parekh to continue as director of the exchange till April 19 but restrained him from officiating at any meeting of BSE or its governing board.

Last week the AA, dismissed Parekh's plea against the Sebi order removing him from office and barring him from holding office.
