Blast averted, Pak spy shot dead in Jammu

JAMMU, April 13: Army troops today averted a blast on the Surankote-Poonch road by neutralising two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), while BSF personnel shot dead a Pakistani spy in R S Pura sector, official reports said here.

Army troops detected two IEDs on the Surankote-Poonch road near Maidana village this morning. Traffic was stopped till experts neutralised the two IEDs, the reports said.

BSF troops shot dead a Pakistani infiltrator early yesterday, they said, adding the infiltrator's appearance and clothes indicated he was a Pakistani national suspected to be a ISI agent.
