Sudhir, Prashant shape MUL win
A fine spell of bowling by Sudhir Sharma (4 for 21) and Prashant Kumar's 63 helped Maruti Udyog Ltd beat Dental Hydraulics by 32 runs and reach the final of the Industrial Cup at Nehru Stadium (Gurgaon).

Brief scores: Maruti Udyog: 201 for 9 (Prashant Kumar 63, Rakesh 24, Amarnath 2 for 30, Amitabh Tiwari 3 for 36) bt Dental Hydraulics: Amitabh Tiwari 49, Mohd. Elias 21, Sudhir Sharma 4 for 21, Samir Bhatia 2 for 32).

Clintus prevail
Rakesh Rajput's 58 went in vain as Sunstar Club lost to Clintus Packers and Movers by two wickets in a limited overs match.

Brief scores: Sunstar Club: 190 for 8 (Rakesh Rajput 58, Harprit 32 not out, Vishal Varma 2 for 20, Vivek Sharma 2 for 21, Atul Kapoor 2 for 28) lost to Clintus Packers and Movers: 191 for 8 (Anuj Kapoor 39 not out, Vivek Sharma 28, Atul Kapoor 25, Arvind Joshi 24, Kuldeep Singh 3 for 36).

Sahil stars
Fine all-round display by Sahil Jain (6 for 6 and 40) powered Young Friends Academy to an eight-wicket win over North-West Academy in a low-scoring match of the Namdhari Suba Ganda Singh (under-16) tournament.

Brief scores: North-West Academy: 78 (Mukesh Kumar 32, Sahil Jain 6 for 6, Rahul Chaudhary 2 for 5) lost to Young Friends Academy: 79 for 2 (Sahil Jain 40, Gaurav Chabra 20).

Shikher excels
Fine knocks by Deepak Rajput (50 not out) and Shikher Dhawan (47) guided Sonnet Club to a nine-wicket victory over Roshnara Club in the second Rajesh Peter Memorial (for juniors) tournament.

Brief scores: Roshnara Club: 118 (Sahil Jaggi 25, Deeshank 22, Karam Harith 3 for 28, N Singh 2 for 33, Rajat Khosla 2 for 17) lost to Sonnet Club: 119 for one (Shikher Dhawan 47, Deepak Rajput 50 not out).

Wrestling meet
In connection with the 300th birth anniversary of Khalsa Panth a prized money wrestling championship will be organised on April 14 at 1 PM at Satya Park (Pandav Nagar). Prominent wrestlers namely Gulam Sabir, Bhagat, Raju, Raju Tomar, Surjit Mann, Satyendra, Anuj Chaudhary, Ramesh, Mukhtiyar, Pratap, Siripal, Jagdish, Kali Raman, Rakesh will participate in this meet. Wrestlers like Guru Hanuman, Chandgiram, Chandroop, Khalipa Jasram, Ravi Nandan, Kamil, Raj Kumar Goswami, Guru Hajarilal, Ratan Pahalwan, Ram Singh, Ram Jani, Sultan Thekedar, Raju Pahalvan and Guru Shyam Nath will also be felicitated.

Skating tourney
Delhi Skating Association will organise the fourth DDA open roller skating championship from April 22 to 25 at Major Dhyan Chand Sports complex, Ashok Vihar. Laxman cricket

Ambedkar football
Employees State Insurance Corporation open their campaign with a clash against Oriental Bank of Commerce in the inuagural match of the Dr BR Ambedkar football tournament at the Thyagraj Nagar Sports Complex on Wednesday while on Thursday, Delhi Audit take on Bank of Commerce. Twelve teams have confirmed participation in the tournament which is being organised to celebrate the 108th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar. The teams have been divided into two groups and top two from each will qualify for the semi-finals.
