BANGALORE, April 16: Raichur Thermal Power Station, a unit of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, has bagged a national award for its outstanding performance in generation and reduction in secondary fuel oil consumption during 1996-97. The award was instituted by Central Electricity Authority, carried an incentive of Rs 16.75 lakh and a shield. The incentive will be distributed among the RTPS Employees.
