CHANDIGARH, April 22: Batala resident, Rajesh Kumar, reported to the police that some persons stole away about 400 grams of jewellery from his bag from the Sector 22 Sood Dharam Sabha. He used to supply jewellery there. The police have registered a case.Theft reportyed
Sector 22 resident Rajinder Pal Kaur has reported to the police that some electronic goods and other household items including a VCR, have been stolen from her house while she was away on Tuesday night.
Pedestrian hit
A pedestrian, Rajesh Kumar of Sector 47, was reportedly hit by an unknown car on the dividing road of Sectors 46 and 47. The police have registered a case.
Maruti lifted
Sector 15 resident, Harpreet Singh, reported to the police that his Maruti, CH-01-0019, has been stolen from near the Sector 17 District Courts.
One arrested for assault
The city police have arrested Dabria (Uttar Pradesh) district resident, Bingal Singh, in a case of assault over a minor issue.
