BJP's Vishwasghat Virodhi Divas today

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
AHMEDABAD, April 22: The Bharatiya Janata Party will observe `Vishwasghat Virodhi Divas' (anti-betrayal day) on Friday to protest against anti-BJP policies of the AIDMK and the Congress.

BJP State general secretary Gorhdanbhai Zadafia said the Congress, the AIDMK and the other political parties has betrayed the voters by toppling the BJP-led Central government, thus going against people's verdict.

He said the BJP would hold dharna at all taluka places in the State as part of Vishwasghat Virodhi day all over the country. He said the BJP has also analysed the reasons for toppling of the BJP-led Central government. He said there were some people who wanted to bring about political instability for their vested interests.

He said some politicians feared that their corruption cases would be exposed if the BJP government stays in power. He said several parties were joining hands to form a government which would give them a free hand.

Zadafia said the President should insist that the party which would claim to form the government should give letters of support from all other parties as the President had done when the BJP government formed the government 13 months back.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya has criticised the killing of 12 Dalits in Bihar. Pandya said the Bihar government was in power because of the Congress. He said the Congress and other political parties were interested only in making equations for forming the government. No one had the time to even condemn the death of these 12 Dalits.
