PUNE, April 27: Vignesh Sanghvi of Poona Club defeated Uday Punde of Deccan Gymkhana 3-2 to enter the semi-finals of the PGI Inter-Club Sports Carnival snooker championship being played at the Poona Club tables.Vignesh, who is also the current state champion, won at 47-68, 50-25, 41-54, 50-26 and 53-15.
In another encounter of the day, Samar Khandelwal of Deccan Gymkhana also made the last four grade by outscoring Mukung Gadhil of Hirabaug at 57-49, 38-47, 55-33, 66-27.
