ISBT paralysed after bomb hoax
A hoax call about a bomb at the busy Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) in North Delhi kept the police on their toes today.A large number of policemen, bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs reached the Maharana Pratap ISBT minutes after an anonymous caller told the police control room that a bomb had been placed at the terminus. The control room received the call 3.45 p.m.

The police searched the area for over two hours, forcing bus services to and from ISBT to come to a halt. Around 6 p.m., the police gave the all clear sign.

Parents' protest
Parents along with their children held a massive demonstration in the Vidhan Sabha premises here this morning. They were protesting against the ``silence'' of the Delhi government against the fee hike in violation of decision of the High Court and the non-compliance of its directions by public schools and the state government.

Parents led by Vijender Kumar, president Delhi Abhibhavak Mahasangh (DAM), gathered at IP College and later marched towards Vidhan Sabha, shouting slogans all the while. The protesting parents also blocked the road for several hours and later gate-crashed into Vidhan Sabha and shouted slogans near the speaker's porch. Later the Civil Lines Police arrested 800 parents including women and children. However, they were later released.
