Radioactive glow
Time was when annual invocations, of a most dubious nature, to the BJP routinely appeared on December 6, summed up in that one over-burdened word, `Ayodhya'. Well, henceforth, the landmark date will be May 11, with muscular `Pokharan' supplanting shameful `Ayodhya'.
Come clean
Whoever thought up the codename could never have imagined that Operation Leech would end up feeding off the credibility of so many branches of the Indian government causing it lasting embarrassment at home and abroad.
Bring in the Rajya Sabha
The powers that be are reluctant to convene a session of the Rajya Sabha till the Lok Sabha is constituted. Such a step could have acted as a stopper to the freelancing Vajpayee government.
