Salam Captain, a book on cricket, written by Sharad Dhage, was released today by Ramakant Achrekar coach of Sachin Tendulkar, at a function at Goregaon.

Achrekar demonstrated some important techniques and advised the youngsters to play the game with determination and decication.

Hockey selection trials

The trials to select the junior hockey team for the Junior Nationals to be held at Pune from June 11 to 25, will be held at the Mahindra Stadium from June 17 at 4.30 p.m.

Players born on or after 1-1-79 are eligible. Those interested should report at the Mahindra Stadium with their kits and age certificates.
