Inter-Club Table Tennis from May 27

PUNE, MAY 17: The Inter-Club Table Tennis championship, to be conducted from May 27 by Sharda Centre, will inaugurate the table tennis season in the city.The championship will be played on a league-cum-knock-out format, with top teams like Sharda Centre, Club of Maharashtra, Deccan Gymkhana and Symbiosis Spa competing for top honours. Among the prominent names in the competition for the title will be individuals like Rohit Chaudhary, Upendra Muley, Nachiket Joshi and Sonia Deshpande.The matches will be played at the different venues like Club of Maharashtra, Sharda Centre, Deccan Gymkhana and the Symbiosis Spa. For further details contact Upendra Muley at the Sharda Centre between 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The last date for entries is May 24. The Poona District Table Tennis Association (PDTTA) has also finalised the seedings and the selection committee.
