Two injured in accidents

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
PANCHKULA, MAY 19: Two persons were injured in two separate mishaps in Panchkula yesterday. Shivani, a scooterist, who is a resident of Sector 11, Panchkula, hit Paramjit Singh another scooterist, at the Sector 11/12 dividing road here.

Paramjit Singh was injured in the accident. The police has registered a case for rash and negligent driving.

In the other incident, a truck driven by Kamlesh Chand and bearing a Punjab registration number, knocked down Karam Singh, a pedestrian, injuring him seriously. A case has been registered by the Chandimandir police.

Meanwhile, there was a collision between a Maruti car and a Maruti van at Kalka market today. The car was badly damaged, but no one was injured in the accident. Kalka police has booked Sandip, the van driver, for rash and negligent driving.
