23,500 to appear for CET today Approximately 23,500 candidates are taking the Combined Entrance Test (CET 1999) of the Punjab University for admission to the BE, B.Arch, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BPharm and BSc (Hons school) courses in 103 examination centres, a press release said. While more than 17,000 are boys, only about 6,000 girls are taking the exams.Gulati is ASE In pursuance of the Punjab State Electricity Board office order, A.S. Gulati, Executive Engineer (HQ) in the UT Electricity Department, has been re-designated as Additional Superintending Engineer. He has also been given additional charge of the post of Executive Engineer (W and E) cum-Under Secretary (Engineering) following the dismissal of A. K.
