Batting first, and anchored by a near-half century by Aniket Kelkar (40), PCB put up a target of 147 runs for the opponents to match, despite the efforts of bowlers like Abhinandan Jha (3/19) and Amod Nagarkar (2/20).

In Agashe Academy's essay at the crease, Sarang Kher stroked his way to 33 runs on the scoreboard. However, in this innings, it were the bowlers who held sway, with Indrajeet returning envious figures of six wickets at the cost of only 18 runs.
