Students threaten stir
A section of the students of the Faculty of Science, M S University have threatened to start an agitation from Monday to protest against the Syndicate decision to withhold the results of 43 students. The students have contended that it was the administration's fault to allow them to continue in the university for so many months despite knowing that the students had submitted bogus certificates to get admissions. They will submit a memorandum to Vice-Chancellor Anil Kane on Monday and later take out a procession.

Power project
Union Minister for Home Affairs L K Advani will lay a foundation stone at Jhanor Gandhar Gas Power Project on Monday at the project site. Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel and Union Minister for Power and Parliamentary affairs P R Kumaramangalam will also be present on the occasion.

Felicitation
The Muslim Medico Forum proposes to felicitate those Muslim students who have scored above 80 per cent in their H Sc (science and general stream) examinations this year. The forum will also honour those students who score above 80 per cent in their SSC examinations.

Office-bearers
City BJP Youth Wing president Mehul Jhaveri and State Youth BJP president Amit Thakkar have appointed new office-bearers for the city youth unit. Jinesh Shah, Sanjay Jaiswal and Hemal Mehta have been named vice-presidents, while Mukesh Dixit, Sanjay Patel and Manoj Shah are the secretaries.
