Islamabad, May 28: Pakistan today criticised Indian air strikes against `Kashmiri freedom fighters' claiming till now it had exercised utmost restraint by not ordering its air force to retaliate and warned, ``there is a limit to our patience.''Premier Nawaz Sharif, in a letter to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, urged him to give due consideration to the ``extremely dangerous situation'' on the line of control due to the Indian action, foreign ministry spokesman Tariq Altaf told reporters here.
``The use of air force by India is a dangerous and unprecedented move. Pakistan has exercised utmost restraint. We have not yet ordered our air force to retaliate but there is a limit to our patience,'' Sharif wrote in the letter.
Sharif urged Annan to give due consideration to the extremely dangerous situation in Kashmir before it gets out of control.
The current situation on the line of control (LoC) arising out of the Indian action has ``seriously undermined the peace and security in the region'', Sharifclaimed underscoring the fact that India is not ready to accept any third party mediation for the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
