According to police sources, the deceased Hansaben (30) took the drastic step after she had a major showdown with her husband.

Hansaben soaked both her children three-year-old daughter Ankita, and four-year-old son Dhaval in kerosene. She then doused herself with kerosene. After soaking her children and herself thoroughly in kerosene she set them and herself ablaze. The reason behind the act is not yet ascertained and police are investigating into the incident, the sources said.
