Six computer terminals installed at District Courts

CHANDIGARH, May 28: With a view to make the task of record-keeping easier, six computer terminals have been installed in the computer room at the District Courts complex. The terminals would be made operational once the staff are trained.

Superintendent Ved Prakash said here that training for use of computer terminals was being imparted to the court staff. "To begin, with one person from every court is being trained in computers at Sector 9, UT Secretariat. Once the staff is trained, the computers would be made operational," he said. Sources add, that to begin with information pertaining to all pending cases would be fed into the computers. Govt adopting short-term approach: Tewari.
