In his FIR, Tanwani has alleged that the bank chairman Gurubaksha Pehlani and directors Harish Aswani, T V Mulchandani and Dhanna Aswani abducted him from his residence with the help of two others on May 21 afternoon.

Tanwani claimed he was taken to the Kothrud branch where they made him sign a resignation letter as well as two blank cheques at gunpoint.
