Complex at village school opened
Kharar: Punjab Food and Civil Supplies Minister Madan Mohan Mittal inaugurated a complex constructed on the premises of Government High School by the Makbuza Malkaan Committee and the village panchayat at Tira village, under Kharar sub-division, on Wednesday. He announced a grant of Rs 1 lakh for Tira village and Rs 20,000 to the Committee.NTAS talent search tomorrow
Patiala: The National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS), Patiala, will organise a talent search programme at the Central State Library lecture hall on May 30 to promote creativity among students. Students aged 13 and above may appear for an interview.
Telecom employees stage dharna
Patiala: The Telecom employees today organised a dharna in front of the office of the general manager, Telecom, against the non-acceptance of their demands. The call for the dharna was given by the All India Telecom Employees Union.
