Rahul Diwan's unbeaten 71 and deadly bowling by Salauddin (5 for 15) enabled Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JNS) win the first Tara Devi Khullar memorial tournament beating South Delhi Coaching Centre by six wickets. Ankur Julka (best batsman, South Delhi); Rakshit Pant (best bowler, Young Friends); Salauddin (best all-rounder, Nehru stadium); Himanshu Khullar (best wicketkeeper, Young Friends) and Karan (best fielder, Nehru Stadium) were also awarded for their performance.

Manoj Dutt excels
An all-round display by Manoj Dutt (3 for 25 and 38 not out) powered Darling Club to a four-wicket win over Raninder Nagar Colts in the A-II division DDCA super league match at Kotla. In another match of the same division, Inborn Cricketers prevailed over SB Youth by two wickets at Palam. Wasim Raja was the top scorer for Inborn.

Deepak sparkles
Excellent performance by Deepak Soni (77 not out and 2 for 17) guided LB Shastri to a 41-run victory over Shankracharya Academy in the semi-final of the first all India Alpine (under-14) tournament. Pardeep Maan's 68 went in vain for the losers.

Ball badminton
Hyderbad defeated Kerala 29-19, 29-28 and Andhra beat Karnataka 29-17, 29-11 in the boys category in the semi-final of the 19th sub-junior nationals ball badminton championship at Allahabad according to reports reaching here.

In the girls section, Kerala prevailed over Karnataka 29-11, 29-26 while Andhra outplayed Orissa 29-24, 25-29, 29-20.
