An Indian Airlines flight from Delhi landed at the 12.30 pm today carrying 120 passengers. However, no additional IA flight operated as was expected in view of the stranded passengers. The same flight carrying more than a hundred passengers left via Jammu for Delhi. ``Yes, the flights have resumed. But only one flight landed as against two. The Jet Airways flights are expected to follow suit on Monday possibly,'' said P B Agarwal, Director Airport.
The flights for Leh will be on the schedule day -- Saturday and no emergency flights will operate for the area, he added. The flight will follow the same schedule under which they operate. With the resumption of the flights the rush is excepted to peak.
The IAF,however, is maintaining a round the clock vigil and an array of weaponry including radars, a battery of anti-craft guns and missiles positioned at various locations continue to guard the airport.
