CHANDIGARH, MAY 31: Jasmine Kaur, a student of St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44 has scored 93.3 per cent marks in ICSE.With a score of 560 out of 600, Jasmine Kaur has bagged the third position in Chandigarh region and has also topped the academic list in her own school.
Talking to Newsline, Jasmine gave full credit of her success to her teachers. "However great the pressure, one thing I am fully convinced about is that one must not overdo studies - studying for hours without concentration. I studied for just 2 hours a day, but with full concentration and later when exams approached, 5 hours were enough," she said.
Also giving credit to tuitions Jasmine held,"Tuitions do help a lot in clearing concepts and basics. But studies should never come between one's interpersonal relations. One should give full time to parents, teachers, friends and a little bit to relaxation also."
Jubilant over the success of the result is Yadavindra Public School, SAS Nagar. According to Komal Singh, principal of the school, "Our school has got 100 per cent results this year." The overall percentage of the school was inadvertently published as 93.33 per cent in Chandigarh Newsline on May 30.
