Two hurt in separate accidents

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
PANCHKULA, MAY 31: Two persons were injured in separate accidents during the past 24 hours. In one incident on the Kalka-Pinjore road near village Bir Ghaghar, a cyclist, Vinod Kumar, was injured when he was hit by a scooterist. The brand new scooter bearing no registration number was being driven by Jagdish, a resident of Water Works Colony, Surajpur. The Chandimandir police have booked the scooterist for rash and negligent driving.

In another incident on the state highway near village Madanpur, a car bearing a Delhi registration number and being driven by Chamanlal, a resident of Pinjore, hit a scooter and injured the scooterist Pushpinder Singh, a resident of Chotagarh. The Chandimandir police have taken custody of the vehicles involved in the accident and is investigating into the matter.
