No threat to Bansi govt -- Mahajan

Express News Service
AMBALA, MAY 31: The Bansi Lal led HVP-BJP government in Haryana faces no threat and the two alliance partners are not parting ways, Excise and Taxation Minister Om Prakash Mahajan said today.

The minister, who was here to attend a function of the local Institute for the Blind yesterday, said that the alliance government would complete its full five-year term. It had completed three years in office on May 11, he said.

He denied any misunderstanding between the Chief Minister and the BJP ministers or legislators, and said it was natural to have a difference of opinion among alliance partners but these should not not be aired publicly. This he said when reporters drew his attention to recent outbursts against Bansi Lal by Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister and leader of the BJP legislature party.

He, however, could not say whether the HVP and the BJP would fight the mid-term Lok Sabha poll jointly, as they had done in the past.
