Khaliq concedes, Ghouse proceeds

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA  
NEW DELHI, MAY 31: Fifth-seeded Mohammad Khaliq of Pakistan today bowed out of the third-leg of the ITF Men's Satellite tennis circuit, conceding his first round encounter to qualifier Russian Andrei Youznyi due to wrist injury.

Khaliq, who was injured during the second leg at Mumbai, was trailing 1-4 in the first set when he decided to bow out.

In another first round match, Mustafa Ghouse of India prevailed over compatriot Ravi Kiran Bhat in straight sets. Ghouse took just over an hour to beat Bhat 6-1, 6-3.
