UAE Exchange launches GET

MUMBAI, JUNE 3: The Emirates India International Exchange, a leading exchange company in the UAE, has launched "Global Express Transfer" (GET) for fast money transfers. It has a rupee drawing arrangement with State Bank of India as well as remittance arrangements with banks in Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Europe, USA and the Middle East.``A large number of expatriate Indians in the UAE are facilitated by Emirates India International Exchange through its nine branches in important cities of UAE. It remits into India over $ one million per day. This remittance scheme is extremely popular as it guarantees speed payment within 48 hours,'' said a press statement. Mohd Humaid Mohd Shattaf is the chairman of Emirates India International Exchange. It has nine branches of the exchange: four in Dubai, one each in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Khorfakkan. This is executed through the branches of SBI, State Bank of Travancore and State Bank of Hyderabad. The 10th branch of EmiratesInternational Exchange will soon open in Fujairah.
