Cable operators stop PTV channel voluntarily

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, JUNE 3: Almost all the cable operators in the city today voluntarily and individually stopped transmitting the PTV channel on their networks as soon as they got a tip-off through media in this regard. The formal orders on the central government's ban on the telecast of Pakistan Television in India are still awaited here. DC m.Ramsekhar, when contacted, said: "We have not received any formal information on the ban from central government as yet. The announcement through the media is a clear signal for the cable operators to stop the telecast of PTV on their own."
