Gun found in airport bathroom
A gun and six cartridges were found inside the terminal building at the domestic airport on June 1. A .32 calibre Smith and Wesson, along with six cartridges, was found inside the WC by a sweeper in the visitor's lounge bathroom around 1.15 p.m. on Tuesday. A case has been registered by the police under the Arms Act. The police are checking with different airlines operating from the terminal about the possibility of any passenger carrying guns.Murder, for a cold drink
A helper on a Faridabad-Delhi bus, Mukesh, 22, was stabbed to death allegedly by shop-owner Mohammed Taviz, 18, after the latter refused to serve him a cold drink because of earlier dues near the Badarpur border on Wednesday. Taviz has been arrested.
Bus passenger held with gun
Bus passenger Rajeev Saxena was found carrying a country-made revolver with four live cartridges in bus number 429 which was passing through Kalkaji. The revolver was detected during a routine check. According to the Kalkaji police, the man had had a fight and wanted to take revenge. The police have arrested him under the Arms act.
Rs 2.9 lakh robbery
Three unidentified men robbed the manager and accountant of tobacco company Sundari Bidi in their office in Patel Nagar of Rs 2.9 lakh on Thursday afternoon.
