India draws the line, no talks on LoC
The US has come out in clear support of India's position on the crisis along the LoC with President Bill Clinton telling Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, to ``take immediate steps to defuse the crisis and respect the Line of Control.''

Nachiketa wants to go back to front
Flight Lieutenant K Nachiketa arrived in the Capital yesterday to an emotional reunion with his family members following his release last night by Pakistani authorities after eight days in captivity.

500 Pak soldiers in India -- Western Defence officials
A report in Friday's Daily Telegraph from Islamabad claims that Pakistani troops had infiltrated Kashmir ``in a joint operation with Islamic militant groups, probably masterminded by the intelligence service''.
