SAS NAGAR, June 4: Vikram Rathore was in fine nick today. He hampered the rival bowlers all over the field to score a brilliant century (115) to help Jalandhar score 192 in 45.4 overs in their first innings against Mohali on the first day of the two-day Punjab Inter-District cricket tournament at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here today.Skipper Vikram Rathore won the toss and opted to bat. He opened the innings and gave a sound start with a fine century (115) which included sixteen boundaries and two sixes and put his team in a comfortable position. But batsmen down the order were unable to maintain the tempo and the team was back to the pavilion in the 46th over.
Ankur (21), Arminder (16) and Vineet (15) were the other batsmen to contribute to the total.
Navdeep Singh scalped three wickets while Raman, Bhupinder Singh (Sr) and Mandan Lal got two wickets each.
In reply, Mohali got 86 runs for the loss of two wickets in 28.3 over when the match was stopped due to inclement weather conditions.
