Tajinder enters quarter-final

CHANDIGARH, June 4: Top seed Tajinder Harry and second seed Ramanpreet Pahwa got a berth in the last eight stage of the men's singles event in the second St Stephen's ranking carrom tournament which is being played at the St Stephen's School in Sector 45. Tajinder beat Dhurva 25-5, 25-8 while Ramanpreet Pahwa defeated Om Prakash 25-4, 25-4.

In the junior boys category, top seed Charukh was upset by Rozario Sampson 21-22, 10-16, in the pre-quarterfinal.
