Smack recovery -- Police team back from Jammu

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, June 6: The seven-member team of the Crime Branch of the city police that went to Jammu after the arrest of Sarwan Singh returned this evening. Sarwan Singh was held with nine kgs of smack on Thursday. The police team are learnt to have stumbled upon certain crucial clues. Police sources say the three persons who are suspected to be involved in the case are missing and it is possible that they crossed over to Pakistan.

All three -- Tarsem, Kewal Singh and Parkash -- reside in villages close to the border. While Kewal has been missing for nearly six months, Parkash has been absconding since June 2, after he reportedly delivered smack to Sarwan.
