Parshant Ahlawat's 83 and 44 by Hament Dogra helped Qutab Cricket Academy beat Shanti Cricket Academy by eight wickets in the fifth Shanti Challenge Cup at Shanti sports ground (Vasant Kunj).
Brief scores: Shanti Academy: 178 (Sushil Kumar 48, Asjit Jaya Prakash 35, Pankaj Sharma 29, Kundan Mehra 2 for 28, Tarun Gupta 2 for 35, Paras Dogra 2 for 17) lost to Qutab Academy: 179 for 2 (Parshant Ahlawat 83, Hament Dogra 44).

Abhinav, Navneet shine
`Man of the match' Abhinav Dewan's stroke-filled 75 and fine spell by Navneet (5 for 38) powered NDS Academy to a 69-run victory over Mera Model Public School in the Campus cricket (under-16) match at Ramjas Sports complex.

Ashwani Kumar strikes
Superb off-spin bowling (5 for 12) by 12-year-old Ashwani Kumar (Murli) and a breezy 90 by Prabhakar Jha enabled Keshav Puram Club triumph over SB Youth by 43 runs in the President's Estate (under-19) championship at PBG ground.

Bijender impressive
A fine spell of bowling by Bijender (5 for 35) and a quickfire 74 by Basant Dagar guided Shiny Group (Palwal) prevail over Vivekanand Club (Delhi) by 10 runs to enter the quarter-final of the second Challenger Trophy tournament at Palwal. Electing to bat, Shiny Group scored 192 for 9 in allotted 35 overs. In reply, Vivekanand Club were bundled out for 182. Bijender of Shiny Group was adjudged man of the match.
