BRISBANE, JUNE 13: Pakistan let slip maximum points for the second time in two days to plunge their Champions Trophy hopes into disarray here today. The three-time tournament winners were leading 2-1 until South Korean skipper Kang Keon Wook scored with 10 minutes left to grab a point and keep his team the unbeaten series leaders.Yesterday, Pakistan were headed for victory only for Olympic and World Champions Netherlands to scramble an equaliser two minutes from time.``That's four points we've lost in two games and now it's do-or-die,'' Pakistan coach Shahnaz Sheikh said today.
``I was disappointed with my team's performance, we gifted them their first goal through a fault of a defender and our attack did not penetrate. We were depending on this game for a win, and now we have to win our two remaining games to have a chance of reaching the final.''
The Koreans kept on track for a surprise appearance in next weekend's final. Pakistan were playing their second game this weekend and the players willkeenly look to a two-day break before Wednesday's decisive match with England to stay in the title hunt.
