Cinema hall owner, 15 others booked

Chandigarh, June 16: The city police today booked the owner of a Sector 17 cinema hall and 15 others for alleged trespass, causing hurt and rioting.The police sources said that Ashok Mahajan, the cinema hall owner, and around 15 workers allegedly beat up Raj Sen, brother of Bhim Sen, the canteen contractor of the cinema hall. They also allegedly illegally locked up the canteen and took control of the counters. A case has been registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 323, 506 and 341 of the IPC.
