Kalka accident victim dies

PANCHKULA, JUNE 16: A resident of Kalka, Prasad, who was injured in a mishap on the June 4 succumbed to his injuries yesterday at PGI, Chandigarh. According to the police, Prasad was admitted to PGI after his scooter skidded at Kalka, but his condition worsened yesterday. His body was sent for cremation after a post-mortem. In another incident which took place at 3:15 am yesterday, two scooter-borne youths tried to hit a police party on duty when they signalled them to stop. According to the police, Nishant, the scooter driver, and Rajiv, the pillion rider are residents of Sector 21, Chandigarh.
