Punjab FM blames Congress for Kargil episode

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
DERA BASSI, JUNE 21: The Congress is to be blamed for creating political instability in the country. Pakistan took advantage of the situation and sent inflators in the Kargil sector. The statement was made by Punjab Finance Minister Capt Kanwaljeet Singh while laying the foundation stone of the sub-divisonal complex, here yesterday. He said that if the Vajpaee-led government at the Centre had not been harassed by the Congress designs of installing Sonia Gandhi as the Prime Minister, then Pakistan would have never dared to launch this kind of operation against India.

He appealed the people to vote against the Congress, as the SAD-BJP alliance would sweep all the seats from the state and the lone Chandigarh seat in the forth coming Lok Sabha polls.
