IAF authorities nab `ISI agent'

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 22: Air Force authorities nabbed an intruder, suspected by to be an ISI agent, inside Ambala airbase on Sunday, it is learnt. IAF sources reveal that security guards spotted the man, identified as Noor Mohammad, around 3 a.m.; he was loitering near the dispersal area where aircraft are parked. While a senior officer at the Ambala airbase, when contacted, declined to comment, an IAF officer said the intruder's purpose might have been sabotage or to assess the base's operational activity level.Mohammad has been handed over to higher authorities for further interrogation. Details about the intruder and his means of gaining entry to the airbase are not yet known. Security at all military installations and vital establishments has been tightened.
