CHANDIGARH, JUNE 22: The Chandigarh Administration would soon decide on the new PCS and HCS officers to be selected for deputation with the administration from Punjab and Haryana.On the request of the administration, the Haryana government has sent a panel of four HCS officers for appointment on deputation with the Chandigarh Administration. These include S. P. Arora, Ashok Sangwan, Balraj Singh and N. K. Singla.
The panel was sent after some HCS officers on deputation in the Union Territory expressed their desire to go back to their parent states.
Meanwhile, some officers from Punjab who have completed their tenure or wish to go back are also to be replaced with the new officers.
The Punjab government had already sent a panel of eight officers for appointment on deputation with the Union Territory, of which it later withdrew the names of two PCS officers.
Among the names sent by Punjab included Raghubir Kaur, Zora Singh, N. K. Wadhawan, Navtej Singh, D. S. Saroya, Indu Mishra, A. S. Dhindsa and T. S. Dhaliwal. Later, the Punjab government withdrew the names of Raghubir Kaur and A. S. Dhindsa.
