LUCKNOW, JUNE 22: Two leaders, one from Samajwadi Party and another from Bahujan Samaj Party, today joined Congress alongwith their supporters.
A party release issued here said a senior BSP leader Haminder Singh Kahlon, party's nominee for the Pilibhit Assembly seat in the last elections and Mohd. Ovais, SP's district general secretary, joined Congress alongwith their supporters at UPCC headquarters here.
UPCC chief Salman Khursheed, who welcomed the new entrants into the party fold, expressed confidence that they would help strengthen the party in the state.
