Need to look beyond Kargil, says Army chief
If Indian troops ever have to cross the Line of Control (LoC) to pull curtains on the Kargil conflict, they will do so only after the Union Cabinet takes a decision in this regard, Army chief General V P Malik announced on Wednesday.

India has asked the US and its key Western allies to go beyond verbal, diplomatic pressure on Pakistan to vacate its aggression across the Line of Control, and tell the IMF to withhold its next loan to Pakistan.
