Wedding bells for Srinath, Kumble

BANGALORE: Wedding bells will toll tomorrow for star cricketers Javagal Srinath and Anil Kumble as they enter into wedlock with their dream girls in separate ceremonies here. While speedster Srinath will tie the nuptial knot with Jyotsna, alumnus of Delhi's Lady Sriram College who moved to Bangalore four years ago, at the bride's residence, leg spinner Anil Kumble will get married to Mysore girl Chetana, who was earlier working at a travel agency, at his own residence.

Ban lifted

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet has lifted the ban on Celsius Corporation of Sweden, makers of the Bofors gun, to facilitate speedy procurement of ammunition and spares for the 155 mm howitzers, which have become the mainstay of the army in the Kargil conflict, official sources said today.
