City traders to observe bandh

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA  
MUMBAI, JUN 30: Traders in the commercial capital of the country under the banner of the Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) would observe a day-long bandh tomorrow to protest against the sales tax imposed by the state government.

The trading community had decided to go on strike as the government failed to make good its promise to resolve the issue, according to FAM. The federation had said here yesterday the agitation would be intensified by resorting to an indefinite bandh.
