CHANDIGARH, June 30: The Punjab University today extended the last date for receipt of admission forms from July 1 to July 15 and revised the entire admission schedule. Teaching work would now begin from July 29.The schedule has been revised for admission to BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Sc (Honours school), MA, M.Sc (Hons), LLB first year and all other courses except B.Sc (engineering), M.Phil, certificate and diploma courses, in the PU teaching departments and affiliated colleges, an official release stated.
It was added that normal admissions with late fee would now be held from July 23 to July 28 while the trials for students seeking admissions in the sports category would be held on July 21.
Meeting
The monthly meeting of Sahit Chintan, Chandigarh, will be held at the Punjab Kala Bhavan on July 4. The day's programme will include a reading session by Madhur Kapila of her story "Vaapsee'' and poetry recitation by Dr Manjeet Dhingra.
