Students scale Mt Leo

New Delhi, June 30: A ten-member team comprising school students have scaled the 22,290 feet-high Mt Leo Pargiyal, the third highest peak in Himachal Pradesh. Four students and a teacher of the Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, guided by four instructors of the Manali-based Institute of Mountaneering and Allied Sports (IMAS) and IAMS director Colonel S.Sharma, who supervised the expedition, reached the summit on June 21.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
